Annie & Brian / Beloved Session in Oshkosh Wisconsin – Asylum Point Park
I was itching to photograph a couple in the snow – and when these two volunteered I was overjoyed ! We had a session scheduled in February, but the 20+ MPH winds and -20+ weather had us reschedule for just a few weeks ago in Oshkosh Wisconsin. I have never photographed in Oshkosh, and when a awesome photographer friend told me about this park I got even more excited ! The day was not perfect, there was 10+ MPH winds, and it was chilly, but we were going for it.
This location was by far perfect ! I LOVED every inch of this place ! The run down barn / storage area – the light house, the bridge … it was BEAUTIFUL !
These two were such troopers in the wind and cold ! Not to mention they are an ADORABLE couple ! Annie has such great style, and was all smiles and laughs the whole time ! My face hurt by the end of the 20 minute session – yes that is all it lasted because we were all FREEZING ! My hands were numb, and hair was snarly from the wind.
The image below is one of my favorites – the emotion is great ! She is not crying – the wind was just that windy ! But I just LOVE her little smirk !
Thank you again Annie and Brian for bearing the cold ! You two were awesome and I hope you LOVE your photos as much as I do !
