Brava Magazine // Published

, A couple months ago I got a Facebook Message from a woman over at Brava Magazine asking me for some of my photos to use in April’s issue. I literally jumped up from my office chair and ran into the living room and told Justin! I sent over some of my favorite images from last year – some were from weddings and some were form a styled shoot I did with some of my favorite vendors. I still have not seen the magazine in person, but I had a friend send me a message with photos of the magazine. I then again jumped up and showed Justin with a little happy dance as I showed him. Below are the pages that were published – AHHHH! Seriously this makes me so happy! I thought getting one photo in Wisconsin Bride Magazine was awesome, but this is really freaking awesome!

These photos could have not been possible without some wonderful people:

Monica of Monirose Bespoke Gowns – who is worn by the lovely Amanda at the Style Wedding Shoot. Shown with her hubby laying in the grass.

The Main Grain Bakery – who baked the beautiful cake topped with flowers from Amanda of Alluring Blooms.

The beautiful table and vases at the styled shoot came from the every awesome people at A La Crate Vintage Rentals!

Emily and her bridesmaids from her wedding in October 2014 at Apple Tree Lane B&B in Waupaca WI.

Angela and Chris Wolf who are the black and white photo – this couples wedding is still one of my favorites to this date.

2015 I have been hustling to grow as an individual and as a business owner. I have so much in the works that are both good for the soul and mind. I have a few personal shoots like the Styled Wedding Shoot in the works for this year and I cannot wait to share them all with you. I am also keeping my Bearded Nation personal project in motion. I will be carrying around my camera with me and asking awesome bearded men for their photo – keep your eye on the blog for those men!

The wonderful people that helped make this publication happen is why I simply adore my job! And it shows that I get to work with amazing people!

With Love – Christine

** Stay tuned for photos of the magazine as soon as I get my hands on one! **

Nick & Kelsey – Engagement in Houghton Michigan
We spent the whole day with these two before their Engagement Session in Houghton Michigan and it was far from boring! We scouted locations, saw where he proposed, had some delicious beer and pizza and tons of great laughs! When they first asked if I would travel up to Houghton Michigan I was like HECK YES! Justin and I LOVE the Northwoods & Lake Superior, and reason to head that way with a great couple I jump on it! These two met at college in Houghton, and this college sounded like the coolest ever! They had beach parties, a engineering building that was built in the wrong direction (ironic?), it kind of looked like Yale, and an awes ...
The Ring Shot / One Frame Wednesday
I have this conversation with almost every couple, and most of the 2nd shooters I shoot with. We discuss the ring shot  - the photo of the beautiful ring or rings at your engagement or on your wedding day. I ADORE the ring shots that are just the ring and you can see all the sparkle - but I do not do that. I try to make the photo of your ring, and art piece. Something that you would want to hang on your wall and gaze at for generations. So I scope out many locations, and try many many shots to get just the right one. There was a wedding, I only had a few minutes to get the shot, so I just rolled up some blades of grass and put the rings on th ...

Lakefront Green Bay Wedding / Gemma & Stephen
Gemma and Stephen's wedding day was a day after a crazy storm that ripped through eastern Wisconsin. They spent the day before their wedding holding down a tent, running decorations in the house along with getting drenched in the process. In Stephen's speech he spoke of this and how he loved his wife's spirit - the night before she sat on the couch and cried, but only for a few minutes, she took a deep breath and said "It's OK, it's going to be OK." This is the moment I believe she realized that it wasn't the decorations the day was about marrying the love of her life, that's what really mattered, and that was going to happen rain or shine!
