These two lawyers met at work then to date only a few months later! Skip ahead 3 years and they are planning their wedding! They love to a binge of Netflix, margaritas, traveling and loves meals together at Lazy Susan in Bayview Milwaukee.

Just listen to their engagement story told by Brittany:

We got engaged at Holy Hill (in Hubertus, WI) on October 17, 2015. The leaves and the fall season in general was really beautiful around that time. Ryan convinced me that we were going to Holy Hill to look at the leaves, which were gorgeous. He knew Holy Hill was a special place to me because my family went there a lot as a child. Anyway, it was chilly and windy that day, but we walked all around and I showed him everything. We walked the trail outside, which is where the stations of the cross are. The trail was covered in these really pretty yellowish/orange leaves. At one of the stations, he pulled me aside and got on one knee and proposed!

I just love this simple and sweet proposal! And when I heard them tell it – you could hear the love that it took to plan. Throughout their engagement session, I gave them space to just be. They got lost in each other and felt in the moment. The calmness of their faces was always so beautiful.

We went to Devil’s Lake State park because even though they love the city they wanted some different than others they’ve seen. A lot of research was done to find a field near Milwaukee that fit the vision we all had – but this field kept coming back into my mind. So when the sun just started to set we headed to this large grass field just outside the park. Everything about it was just simply perfect – an amazing way to end the session with two amazing people!
