Chealsea and Nate got married during a intimate ceremony at Bull’s Eye Country Club in Wisconsin Rapids with their closest family and friends! Justin and I were excited to see these two again – we got to see a lot of them during their TWO engagement shoots! These two were always a blast and up for anything – and you could just tell they loved each other! This wedding was all them – from the simple and rustic tables, to the window of loved ones that were there in spirit, and the wedding party that was a freaking blast! This was a wedding where I felt more like a part of the family than a vendor – I was greeted with open arms when I got there, and left after getting some of the warmest hugs from the bride and groom. I wanted to ask these two a  few questions to share just how awesome these two are – and some advice they have for future couples!

Chelsea, what do you love most about your husband?

His need to make sure I know how much he loves me and how beautiful he things I am.

Nate, what do you love most about your wife?

Her positive attitude towards life.

What memory stands out most from your wedding day?

NATE // Watching Chelsea walk down the isle.

CHELSEA // Singing to Nate during our first dance. (since he didn’t know the words of the song to be able to sing to be:)

What was the best part of planning your wedding day?

When the planning was over!! And when we were able to see 2 years of hard planning come together! 🙂

What was the greatest challenge planning your wedding? What did you feel least prepared for?

Dealing with (extended) family. We were least prepared for the humidity (and wind) !

What moments are you most excited to see in your wedding photos!?

All of them 🙂

What personal touches did you add to make your wedding your own?
Everything was quite personal. My bridesmaids and I made everything. I did a window of parents/grandparents wedding photos, that was really fun to do. Also, Nat’s cousin had something special stitched inside my dress which was very sweet!

What are you looking forward to most about married life?

NATE // Spending the rest of my life with my best friend! 🙂

CHELSEA // Just finally being married and being able to call him my husband AND hopefully having babies soon! 🙂

What advice do you have for couples planning their wedding day?

ELOPE!!! hahah! But on the off chance they don’t’ want to elope and want to plan a wedding. I’d say DO NOT let anyone’s opinions influence any of your decisions. The decisions are for you and your significant other to make and they are not open for discussion. Stand strong! (LOVE THIS!)

Are you going on a honeymoon? If so, where and when?

Yes, we do plan on doing a honeymoon, we are no quite sure when yet, but we hope to go somewhere in the Caribbean!

These two for sure are my kind of people, real and madly in love! Justin and I are so thankful to have been part of such an amazing day – we hope to see you two again soon!

Must have Wedding Day Images - Madison WI Wedding Photographer There are moments that Justin and I always keep our eyes out for. Yes, of course, the first time he sees you, those slight glances to each other during the ceremony, and those beautiful vows. But, the moments I am talking about are - the moments the tears, the giant hugs from your Grandparents, your husband grabbing Grandma for a dance, your wife grabbing Grandpa for a little jig, or those rad dance moves by the kids. These moments are what we seek out - these are the hidden moments. These are the moments where you get lost in the moment, the happiness, the joy and the celebratio ...

Gwen & Jeff – Devils Lake State Park Maternity Session
A couple months ago I put out a model call for a shoot I had coming up - and when these two contacted me I just KNEW I had to photograph them! They are newlyweds who are also expecting a new little one to their family. So I planned a shoot at Devil's Lake State Park - a session that ended with getting into the water. How could you come here and NOT get in the water! Justin and I went the day before and drank a beer while sitting in the water. The lake is pure perfection! This babe is already loved so deeply but two amazing parents so ready to meet him/her. These two are madly in love humans who found each other again, years after already k ...

Tamara & Jake – Green Bay Wisconsin
When I first met Tamara and Jake over a beer to discuss wedding photography, Tamara was a big ball of nerves. Tamara was so worried something horrible was going to happen on her wedding day. But, as the months went by and the wedding date got closer her nerves turned to excitement. I loved seeing her face change - she was so ready to marry her best friend. The worst thing that happened on their wedding day was a little bit of rain - but nothing major! They did a first look on a bridge at Green Isle Park just outside of Green Bay Wisconsin. It was perfect - it was just us and them on the bridge. Tamara and Jake got lost in the moment, in th ...
