High School Sweethearts and their beautiful Wintery Spring Engagement Session

Corrianne & Alex met the beginning of their sophomore year and the beginning of his junior year (high school sweethearts)! They had gym class together and that’s where they first met! When they first met Alex was super shy, so he messaged Corianne on Facebook and that’s how they first began talking! She happened to be at her sisters in Milwaukee and Alex was in Wisconsin Dells with his family. They messaged/texted non-stop that entire weekend. When Monday came around Corianne was excited for gym class except for Alex too was too shy to come say hi! That night he texted again and explained he was super shy. So the next day in gym Corianne walked up to him and started up the conversation and you can see how it sparked from there!

Alex’s proposal is one of my favorites!

One day before their 5 year anniversary (October 23, 2016) Coriann’s friend Abby asked if she could go along with her to meet a lady for her hair and makeup trial for her wedding. She didn’t know until they got going that this was the start of her proposal!! Corianne’s friend started off by having her reach into the glove box for clues! As she was grabbing for them her friend reached into the back seat for flowers and her favorite kind of chocolate!

The first card had her name and read:

Happy Anniversary babe! It has been 5 wonderful years with you, so I wanted to make tonight extra special. I am sending you on a scavenger hunt! Abby will give you your clues at each destination & you will find me at the end. “Happy Hunting!” Clue One- Go to the place where I first laid eyes on you. It was at that moment that I knew exactly who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with… YOU! (this clue lead me to the high school!) Clue Two- The next place to go to is where we had our first date. I was so nervous that I forgot to pay for you. Who knows why you stayed with me, but I am sure glad you did! (this clue lead me to the local movie theater!) Clue Three- Head to the place where we like to go on our dates. You LOVE the alfredo-it is all you get- and I look looking into your beautiful eyes! (this clue sent me to the wheelhouse where I was sent in and came out with a heart shaped pizza!) Clue Four- Your last place to search for is where I will be waiting. Look for the glow of the lights by the little white chapel surrounded by fall leaves. Hurry- I love you. (this clue sent me to the Red Mill in Waupaca)

When she arrived he was already down on one knee in between pumpkins that said Will You Marry me?

He said a few short words and asked Corianne to marry him! Of course, the answer was YES!!! Alex had one more surprise up his sleeve! He said they had people waiting for them back at the Wheelhouse! They had about 10 close family members and friends there to celebrate and enjoy dinner with them! The night was absolutely perfect and Corianne can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with this Alex!!

Corianne and Alex met me down here in Madison for their engagement session. We all thought it would be great to have a session that was different than most who get married in Waupaca. We went to one of my favorite places, Pope Farms Conservancy, on a chilly Spring day. These two were amazing with the wind and cold! And for my random spot change across the street! The beautiful pine was a great addition to the grey and white!
