Downtime / One Frame / Central Wisconsin Photographer / Natural Intuition Photography

It’s a chilly one out there !!! Whew !!!

It’s definitely slower around here …. giving me more time to cuddle with the fury ones, cook dinner, go out to dinner with my family and friends – become a normal person again! I love this time of year! The cold and all! The snow is so beautiful, and it gives me a chance to un-wind, look back at the wonderfulness of the year gone by. If I had my way, I would stay inside and hibernate till Spring! But I always have this urge to put on 10 layers of clothes, my boots and grab my camera. Get the beautiful Winter light on the leafless trees, the random grasses that pop up from the snow. It is just quieter in the winter, I LOVE IT!

I will be working still, I am collaborating with some awesome people for a shoot coming in the Spring – and working on Lifestyle in home shoots that I am so excited about! Designing, and making my own packaging that will go into effect in the Spring. Beautiful goodies that will be sent out to ALL clients when they book a session or wedding with me to welcome you to the photography family!

Yes it may be slower on the sessions and weddings side, but man do I love to snap my little camera! I will be following my sister and her new little one arriving soon the first year of that littlest ones life! So excited! They will be all in home, lifestyle – REAL LIFE memories!

So keep your eyes on my Facebook page, and Twitter, to see the updates on all the awesomeness coming your way! I will also be starting a newsletter that will be filled with goodies! The ones who receive the newsletter will  get first dips before it gets posted to facebook, twitter, or pinterst. So if you would like to be signed up for this once a month newsletter please email me @ or comment below to be added!

Each wedding I have done this year hold a special place in my heart with the rest of the amazing couples I have been trusted to photograph their story. I have seen so much love, so much heart, so much joy in one year - there aren't words to describe the love I have experienced and captured. I usually share this mushy stuff for my final blog of the year, but you all need to know this right now - I am ever so thankful for you in my life! I would not be where I am, do what I do if it wasn't for you! ...

Devil's Lake Relaxation | Baraboo Wisconsin For some reason, this year has been a lot of me struggling with wanting to do more. More relaxation with Justin, more hiking, more cookouts, more time with friends & family, more work, photographing as much as possible, trying to make a movement with Rad Photographers Retreat just more. I also find myself scrolling through social media and seeing others doing more - I am not comparing really, just feel like I am falling behind. I know others feel this - so I am writing this blog to ensure them, YOU, that you're not alone in this feeling. Yesterday I got this massive feeling of regret and dre ...
Bearded Nation / Personal Project
It all started with a nervous girl among hundreds of talented photographers who gave herself a goal to talk to strangers and take their picture. When I looked around and saw all these good looking bearded men, a light-bulb went off in my head. I am not the greatest at talking to people I don't know, I stutter like a fool and fidget. People think just because I have worked in the restaurant industry and bartender for over 10 years that I am great at talking to people. Yes I am great at chatting with people about mundane things, but when it comes to opening myself up and being vulnerable - I stutter a whole lot. But when I first met Obi - a ...
