Emily & Chad – Waupaca Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Wedding Photographer
I have known this family since I was a kid – we all went to the same High School. Emily and one of her sisters, Stephanie, are the reason I went to Alaska for a Summer. So when I got an email from Emily, I was so giddy, and excited! I really really wanted to photograph her wedding, just just because I knew the details were going to be amazing, or that she a beautiful woman – it’s because her family is one of the sweetest families I know! It’s filled with extreme talent of woodworking, sewing, knitting, and painting! Already but that you know the day is going to be beautiful!
Emily and Chad could not have asked for a more beautiful day for their wedding! The whole week before was rainy and cold! Then their wedding weekend came and the clouds parted and the sun came out! It was warm, sunny and filled with great people! As I walked into the Bed and Breakfast, I could hear giggly girls! I then walked into the parlor where all the girls were getting their hair and make up done – everyone was all smiles and filled with excitement. Emily showed me her details, and handmade flowers, oh and her dress! Swoon! As soon as she slipped on that dress with help from her Mom and Best Friend – Emily’s face changed – you could just see the love and excitement! She was ready to marry the love of her life.
The ceremony was down a little hill, you were greeted with bug spray (this was needed for sure!) at a rustic door that when you walked through you were greeted with loving faces, rustic chairs and a handmade arbor. As soon as Emily walked down that isle and Chad saw her, the loving smile on his face – I love those moments! Their ceremony was sweet, funny and filled unique to them. When they walked down the isle they were greeted with hugs from their friends, and a fresh Spotted Cow to celebrate!
Congrats Emily and Chad!
With Love and many thanks – Christine
