This is the first time I saw my dear friend in about 2 years – and the last time I saw her she was pregnant with her son Kai. We have been friends for about 10 years, and every time we get together it’s like no time as passed. We pick up where our life is now – its crazy how much as happened since we have have been friends! She’s gotten married and on her way to her 3rd kid – and can I just say that her 2 little ones right now, Pax and Kai are freaking ADORABLE! They definitely keep her on her toes! I am hoping that a little girl mellows them out. Yes I have no kids but I have been with my boyfriend Justin for as long as she has been married to her husband Jason.
Man I remember the trouble we have gotten into while in college! How much growing up we have (well mainly me) since then – and I have never been so thankful to have this woman as my friend for so many years! Her and the family live in De Moines Iowa, but I wanted to photograph her beautiful bump – so I drove to Debuqe Iowa to spend a little time with her and her boys. Along the way the sun kept trying to break out of the clouds but it never fully decided to make it’s presence – so during the photo taking it was pretty darn cold. But the boys kept warm by running around and climbing on rocks. Oh these boys – they were so much fun! I could have spent forever with this family!
Ok – Sibling photos like this are some of my favorites! One hugging the other with a BIG smile the other like “Get off me! Why are you touching me!” HAHAH I love it!
G – I cannot wait to meet that little girl of yours! She is blessed into a wonderful family! And we must not wait another 2 years to see each other – I am already planning a Summer trip to De Moines!
