We also told stories of how awesome it was to be part of a big family, and the awesome things we got to do together.  It was a wonderful way to spend a beautiful Wisconsin day, the evening was cooler than expected and the sunlight was beautiful! We hiked some nature paths along a beautiful pond in Hayward Wisconsin, where we tried to identify some plants – me telling them you could eat this particular flower – still not sure to this day if I was correct or not 🙂  These 3 families come together every year from 3 different parts of the Midwest- a tradition going on for years. We walked the trail together laughing and jumping because of frogs and oh so many stories! It was such a great evening!  If I had more hours in a day I would have hung out with them and traded stories together for hours about sand in the shorts and golf socks. This family knows the true meaning of family for sure.
