Indian Crossing Casino Wedding / Jesse & Krista
Krista & Jesse’s wedding is one of my favorites to date! Their wedding had an awesome wedding party that was game for anything, the couples getaway car was a old fashioned ford, and the couples was down to earth and oh so in love. They put so much personal aspects and family into their day. I adore when couples make their wedding day about love, marriage and family over making it perfect. Their wedding was also filled with years history and love – check this out:
Gradma Joyce (brides Gdrandma) was not only baptized and confirmed in this church congregation, but she was also married Grandpa Orv here. After the ceremony we will party down at the Indian Crossing Casino where Orv and Joyce first met. If you would like to meet their cute rin bearer, he is our officiant, Pastor Vilas Mazemke, who was just five years old the day they were wed.
This was written in their program, when I read it I fell more in love with their day even if that was possible. Krista’s dress was beautiful, the girls were in mismatched dresses, and the guys were as dapper as ever. Krista thought about everything down to the last details – the rings were in a antique box that I swooned over for about 5 minutes. The reception had anqtiues on the tables, even a dancing bride and groom in a music globe! WHAT? I wanted to take that home with me! Instead of a guest book they had wishing keys – these were keys that had your table number on it, you kept the key but then put kind words or advice on the tag then hang it on the wishing tree. Some of the advice was cute, funny and kind words to carry them through the next 50+ years together!
Something I tell each and every one of my couples is that we love to take them away for some photos in the dreaming evening light – then suggest they take some time alone to breath and take in the day. This couple took full advantage and it made my heart happy. Your day is a day filled with so much emotion, love, stress, hugs and people. It is important to take a few moments and dip you toes in the water – take in the day that begins a beautiful adventure!
Thank you for having me at your amazing day – and can’t wait to hang out again soon!
with love – christine
