Meeting Stevens and Tracy in one of their favorite parts of Milwaukee for their engagement was so much fun! The Third Ward of Milwaukee is one of our favorite parks of Milwaukee to photograph in too! It has so many amazing buildings, murals, and alleyways to jump into!
These two are way too cute for words, Stevens couldn’t keep his eyes off Tracy the whole session. Being able to photograph couples this in love is always what makes me love my job even more!

HOW DID YOU MEET?
We met through Instagram as we had similar foodie interests and when I was in Philadelphia for work messaged Tracy wondering if she wanted to meet up for dinner thinking it would be nice to have a friend there for when I travel for work. From the moment I saw her standing on the corner outside of Parc, I had butterflies in my stomach. We had a great evening and continued to text after and then after another visit to Philly decided to give the long-distance thing a go. Now 2 years later we are both in Milwaukee planning our wedding!!!!!
WHAT IS YOUR PROPOSAL STORY?
Tracy had no Idea, but when we were in Lake Tahoe for a weekend I had been planning the surprise. I found a local coffee shop (I.V Coffee Lab) for the proposal to take place. When we arrived I had Tracy get a table while I ordered, as this was our usual plan of attack.
I had already been in contact with the Barista who was working and had them play a song, Jackie Greene Light up Your Window. Then brought over an empty coffee cup with the ring box in it and said: “they only had one cup left!” I took her a few seconds to realize what was going on and I proceeded to ask her to marry me and she said YES!!!!
WHEN DID YOU FALL FOR EACH OTHER?
Steven: I knew the moment after we had parted ways from our first dinner. I remember talking with my brother afterward and wondering what was going to happen next.
Tracy: I also knew after our first dinner together that I was going to be crazy about this guy. As soon as we said goodbye I was so anxious wondering if he was going to text me or if we would see each other again.
