The amazingly talented woman behind Wood Violet Styling asked me to be part of an amazing styled shoot at the up and coming new wedding venue in Stoughton Wisconsin. The Chorus is seriously going to take this area by storm! All it needs is a chef to come in to build his kitchen and start catering dreaming weddings. A chefs dream right!? Not only that but it is a photographers dream when amazing vendors come together for a moody shoot in this beautiful venue.
Dominique at Wood Violet has amazing vision when it came to this inspiration. Dominique and I wanted something a little edgier and romantic. Wedding Inspiration for those wanting something different. When I saw the venue was speechless walking through the three floors. The main floor having the beautiful ballroom, and once you go up these next two floors will soon be amazing new apartments. These beautiful apartments are going to be a dream I just know it!
The inspiration for this shoot was edgy, romantic, moody with a little bit of rusticness to it. Blooms Flower Shop brought beautiful floral creating so much beautiful texture. Textures on the table, mantle and floral crown on Britney. The beautiful deep hues in the floral and greenery made my heart swoon. The delicious cake from Craig’s Cake Shop topped with beautiful blueberries, blackberries and cherries. With the addition to the beautiful fruits adding textures, colors and made this already beautiful cake raise the bar. I am now a firm believer that more people should have simple white cakes. Simple cakes with beautiful fruit added to create a beautiful centerpiece. All brought together with the finishing touches from rentals by A LA Crate and Event Essentials.
Finding models for this shoot was one of the most challenging. Working with real people and non hired models is always my goal with shoots. Two people who are madly in love with each other. A love that is felt and seen through the images. A couple with tattoos, madly in love and freaking adorable! Britney and Kyle have been married for 5 years with some beautiful kids were more than perfect for this shoot. Along with the beautiful floral crown, Britney wore a stunning two piece BHLDN gown. While, Kyle work a classic navy suit from The Black Tux the was occupied with a maroon tie.
A shoot the brought amazing vendors together to help promote a new venue in the area that will make a beautiful backdrop. A venue that I cannot wait to see blossom and the amazing couples that will be starting a new adventure together. This beautiful venue is open for bookings and is also on the look out for a chef. A chef that can build their dream kitchen and menu. This amazing venue isn’t just for weddings, it’s great for bridal showers, birthdays, anniversaries and so much more! Dream it and do it! This definitely is some moody wedding inspiration and such lovely photos! Not too mention the Chorus in Stoughton, WI looks like an incredible wedding venue!
