Modern wedding of pink, gold and greenery in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
We knew that Jordan and Travis were a laid back couple when we first met them for their engagement session last October. You should head on over to that blog an read more about their story. Especially their proposal story! After their session, we were even more excited for their wedding day. But, it didn’t prepare us for just how awesome everything was!
We arrived at their beautiful home where the girls were getting ready. House was pretty chill with everyone hanging out with the music playing. The guys arrived just after Jordan got into her wedding dress. She put her finishing touches together before walking down the stairs to meet her future husband in the living room.
We decided to do their first look in their living room, as the memory of that day and moment will be extra special.
I mean every time they sit down to watch T.V the moment will pop into their head. When they sit down with future children they will be able to tell the story cuddling on the couch. A special moment just for them and their future families.
We ventured downtown Milwaukee to the Third Ward where we took some fun wedding party images. We had a ton of laughs with their wedding party before heading to the Atrium where they hung out before the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful with white draping, a copper arbor and candles along the aisle.
Here is exactly what the weekend felt to Jordan and Travis:
I think our rehearsal really set the tone, relaxed and fun. We went to our favorite place, Camp Bar, for dinner where we got our favorite drinks – old fashioned and ate some delicious pizza.
Everyone has a great time and it was exactly what we wanted.
I (Jordan) woke up early on Saturday because I could already feel the anxiousness starting. I was nervous but also so so excited. I was surrounded by my favorite people.. my girls, my cousin (MOH), my sister in law and mother in law and my mom. It was an amazing morning.
I (Travis) feel the same as Jordan. I was probably more nervous than her too. But I was surrounded by my best buddies and brother in laws and Jordan’s cousins.. we had a fun morning if chilling and laughing.
The wedding flew by but I think we were both able to soak it all in. It was EVERYTHING we could’ve asked for and more. We had a special team helping us turn our vision to life with all of the decorating. It was truly amazing. We feel so blessed right now. Now here we are, the next day, and we can talk believe it’s all over. I’m getting post-wedding blues!! I get it, but these images will help you relive the day over and over again!
What were the personal touches that you brought to the day?
Our wedding cake made by my mom, the Italian cookies made by my Nona, incorporating Dan (Travis’s late father) to our thank you speech. The picture of Trav and his dad on his tie. And the songs we choose.
Advice for couples planning their wedding day?

We couldn’t behave made a better decision. You guys were awesome! My mom kept saying how excited she was to see your photos. You guys were accommodating and always go with the flow but take over when needed. It’s a perfect balance.
