Gemma and Stephen’s wedding day was a day after a crazy storm that ripped through eastern Wisconsin. They spent the day before their wedding holding down a tent, running decorations in the house along with getting drenched in the process. In Stephen’s speech he spoke of this and how he loved his wife’s spirit – the night before she sat on the couch and cried, but only for a few minutes, she took a deep breath and said “It’s OK, it’s going to be OK.” This is the moment I believe she realized that it wasn’t the decorations the day was about marrying the love of her life, that’s what really mattered, and that was going to happen rain or shine! This is what I tell my clients all the time, and it made my heart sing when I heard Stephen say this with so much love about his wife. Their wedding day was the opposite of the night before, it will filled with so much sunshine! We were all gleaming with joy … oh wait or was that just sweat? It was a hot day, but it was quickly cooled with a frozen yogurt pop from Streetpops! I am just sad I didn’t get to try one, each time I thought I had time I was pulled away to another awesome moment! It was a wedding day that was filled with so much love any happiness, you could see it on everyone’s face and in hear it in the heartfelt speeches.
It is hard finding the exact words to write this email as to explain all the love and beauty I witnessed at their wedding. I am letting the photos above tell the story and by telling you that I adored this day, and this is what happens when two madly in love people get married.
