Outdoor Iola Ski Jump Wisconsin Wedding …. PUBLISHED!

Adam and Sara’s wedding is still to date one of my favorites! Why? Because, when couples keep their wedding true to who they are and surround themselves with their closest family and friends – what could be any better?

This couple has now been published TWICE – once for their engagement in Laramie Wyoming and now for their beautiful intimate wedding in Iola Wisconsin. It may have rained but it never got the couple down! Sara got ready outside along the ski trail, behind an antique dressing screen. The ceremony was set along the trail also, with old church pews for their guests to sit. Family and friends witnessed Sara and Adam saying their own vows to each other – vows that were spoken from the heart.

These two have survived (as said by the bride) their first year of marriage! I know they will have many adventures many times over in the next 100 years together!

Make sure you check out their published wedding – HERE! And Relive their day – HERE, and comment with a HUGE congrats on their first year of wedded adventure!

Get to know this amazing couple a little more – and see why they are so freaking awesome!

How did you meet? Chemistry Lab Partners in college

How did he propose?  We hiking to the top of Medicine Bow Peak for out anniversary. We had a picnic then he proposed.

Sara, what do you love most about Adam?  He gives sincere apologizes.

Adam, what do you love most about Sara?  She is always calm and positive.

What would your perfect Sunday be together?  Hiking in the mountains on a beautiful day and not passing a single soul on the trail.

What memory stands out the most from you wedding day? Wondering around the woods getting our pictures taken after the ceremony. Everything seemed kind of chaotic until then.  It was the first time we both got to relax and take deep breaths as husband and wife.

What was the best part of planning your wedding day? Planning the flowers! I enjoyed planning the bouquets and picking out the flowers online. Then, I love sitting up with the girls the night before with a glass of wine making out bouquets and centerpieces. It was surprisingly relaxing.

What was the greatest challenge planning your wedding? Planning my Wisconsin wedding from Wyoming. I checked out the venue in December and then didn’t get to see it again till a few days before the wedding. That also meant we had to transport anything we bought/made for it across country.

What personal touches did you add to make your wedding day your own? WE did the flowers, made the cake, we also had a bluegrass band and since we love to camp we encouraged as many of our friends and family to camp as well.

What are you looking forward to most in your future together? Retiring and traveling the world together.

What advice do you have for couples planning their wedding day? Adam: Elope 🙂

Sara: Try to delegate specific tasks (i.e. decorating, lights, setting tables etc…) that need to be done to specific people. Everyone wants to help but end up not knowing exactly what to do.

If you could have any superpower what would it be? Sara: The ability to remember everything I have learned. It really bothers me when I can’t remember something I spent so much time studying.

Adam: Have the ability to digest grass and drink salt water.

see aren’t they just freaking amazing! and amazing advice!
