The weekend of Sydney and Mikes wedding day couldn’t have been better! We just missed out on the HOT humid Wisconsin weather. The only thing that caught most of us off guard was how cold it got when the sun went down. But, as soon as the music started they warmed up with dancing and a fire. Not only did this wedding have a campfire, with smores, but it had Llamas, delicious food and amazing people!
Sydney and Mikes favorite part of their wedding was:
Our first look. Getting that moment to breathe and just appreciate each other together.
Just ONE of the reasons why I love and kind of urge couples to do the first look. Taking time to yourself is something EVERY SINGLE COUPLE should do! The day goes by so fast, you will hug a hundred people and it can be overwhelming. Taking time together away from all the hustle allows you to take in how awesome the day really is.
What was the greatest challenge planning their wedding?
The little stuff – all those little details and decorations were great to have, and the ones we did early were easy, but all of those last minute details I finally said ‘forget it, it is what it is.’ And to be honest, I couldn’t tell you a single thing we missed out on.
Advice for future couples!?
Do the big stuff together, plan early, do the little things you’re each interested in on your own. Most importantly: make sure you keep the process a hobby, not a chore.
