I can’t wait to introduce you again to Amy & Josh, I loved thier wedding day so much! They kept it filled with family memories, and love. Set in a field with beautiful trees as the backdrop in front of their closest family and friends. Hey to know them a little better and some honest advice for future couples.
Names: Josh & Amy Karpinski
Wedding Date: Friday, August 29, 2014
How did you meet? We met in preschool many years ago. Always went to school together but never really hung out with the same crowd of people. In 2010 we both ended up working at Culvers together and that’s when we really started to talk and fall for each other.
How did he propose? We went to the wilderness resort in Wisconsin Dells for our anniversary and we were waiting for our pizza to be delivered to our room and he got the ring out and just looked at me like..you wanna?
Amy, what do you love most about Josh? I love how he keeps me grounded
Josh, what do you love most about Amy? How well she supports me and is always there
What would your perfect Sunday be together? Sleeping in, waking up drinking offer and watching some food network togther. Then hanging out with our dogs going for walks and just being together
What memory stands out most from your wedding day? From our wedding day I would say walking down the aisle and seeing Josh in tears trying so hard to keep it together. And the sun..I won’t forget how hott it was 🙂
What was the best part of planning your wedding? Being creative was so fun. Seeing it all come together and all our hard work with DIY projects. It was really quite rewarding.
What was the greatest challenge in planning your wedding day? What were you least prepared for? Since we had our ceremony on my parents land we had to get everything ourselves to make it happen. From the chairs, to the microphone, decorations, and a plan B in case of rain. We just were not fully aware of how much work it was to have the ceremony there.
What personal touches did you add to make your wedding day your own? Just having our ceremony on my parents farm land really made it unique. Being a 4th generation farmers there was so much history on that land. The trees in the background were all hand planted by my grandpa many years ago. It was a perfect location that nobody has ever had before.
What are you looking forward to most in your future together? We are looking forward to growing. We are pretty young (23 years old) so we have so much life ahead of us. So much time to travel and experience all life has to offer.
What advice do you have for couples planning their wedding day? If friends or family ask to help out…LET THEM! Especially if you plan to do some DIY projects. Also..take time to enjoy the whole process. From cake tasting to meeting with all the vendors and all the decorating ideas..just enjoy it!
If you could have any super power what would it be, and why? Definitely time travel. Going back in time and reliving certain fun and cherished memories.
Aren’t these two the best? Love them, can’t wait to photograph them again soon!
With love – Christine
