I was overjoyed when I got the email from Whitney telling me that they were expecting. Along with that good news, they were coming home and needed their new family photographed. They rented a little cabin in Northern Wisconsin for a month, where I met them. This little place was adorable – and WAY bigger on the inside than it looked on the outside. I drove up to this little cabin scoping out all the spots that had windows because it was a cloudy day and needed all the light I could get. As soon as I walked in and they took me upstairs I was wowed! Wo cute and a beautiful place to spend a month in Wisconsin!

As most parents, they wanted photos to have for generations. To show their little one how much they were loved in their first days. A photo to keep on their nightstand. To give to their parents and grandparents. These photos are filled with so much love, happiness, and hope for the amazing future ahead.

Their session was a short and sweet one where we captured their little man in all his emotions. Little Eliyah Taher was the happiest when he was held. He didn’t want to be far from Mom and Dad – which was the sweetest thing!

This family session is one of my favorites to date. The mood, the light, the love Whitney and Hisham share for their little man. I hope to see this amazing family again and capture their family grow!

A couple months ago I put out a model call for a shoot I had coming up - and when these two contacted me I just KNEW I had to photograph them! They are newlyweds who are also expecting a new little one to their family. So I planned a shoot at Devil's Lake State Park - a session that ended with getting into the water. How could you come here and NOT get in the water! Justin and I went the day before and drank a beer while sitting in the water. The lake is pure perfection! This babe is already loved so deeply but two amazing parents so ready to meet him/her. These two are madly in love humans who found each other again, years after already k ...

Madison Wi Fall Family Session at Pope Farms I sadly don't get to do many family sessions - but lucky that when I do they are freaking awesome! Ashley from Blushing Fawn Photography contacted me for her families photography. They haven't had an updated WHOLE family session in far too long. I totally get it - life goes by so fast! Especially when you're a photographer you always have a camera ready for your kids, but when it comes to the whole family it isn't easy.  They came down to Madison and had a blast at Pope Farms! The kids loved running in the fields - the sunlight was amazing, and the whole family killed it! This family has k ...

I met this family just about a year before this session for these two adorable babes newborn photos. Otto and Iris loved giving us a workout at their session. As soon as we would sit them down they would go in opposite directions. Or one would smile while the other look utterly confused. I couldn't stop laughing at these two while the adults were getting a workout. I think I told these beautiful babes parents that I thought their kids were adorable a million times.  Even the awesome fact they called their bouncy chair toys - baby containment devices - was freaking brilliant! As parents who are reading this know - this statement is so true! ...
