Becky & Dylan Doctors Park Milwaukee Wisconsin Engagement
Becky & Dylan were meant to meet I am going to let them tell their story of how they met:
Becky: We met freshman move in day at Drake University. He was walking around with guys from his floor and I was walking around with girls from my floor, both groups trying to meet people throughout the dorm floors. We had never met before but recognized one another right away because our older brothers were good friends and we both look like our siblings! Dylan: Pretty crazy looking back on it. Becky was rocking a tie-dye shirt (she denies it but she def was). We exchanged phone numbers that day and basically became best friends instantly.
I just love that Dylan remembers what Becky was wearing! How sweet is that!? I loved listening to them tell the story, because when each other were telling it – the other was looking on with so much love. It’s always an amazing thing to see.
Now you have to hear about when they knew they fell in love! Damn, love is freaking awesome!
Becky: When he came to Milwaukee going into sophomore year- we spent the the whole weekend together and that was when I foresaw it becoming more than a friendship (we also went to the Brewers game, State Fair, and zoo all in one day!! 🙂 ) Dylan: ^Knew you would say that! Sorry Christine, this will probably be real cheesy. But we were definitely friends that literally did everything together. And said ‘I love you’ as friends and stuff before we were dating so I always loved her. But I think the first time I knew I loved you in more than a friend way was when I saw our families interact over spring break Freshman year that was the eye opener for me!
LOVE that they apologize for being cheesy – love is cheesy and damn awesome! Which is why we love hearing about it so much – oh and living it! This is also why I freaking love my job so much! (freaking is being said a lot on this blog!)
When we met Becky and Dylan at Doctor’s Park – we brought some beer to chat first. This is because we only chatted online and we wanted to get to know them better. We like to connect with our couples to ensure we are more like friends with a camera rather than hired to come photograph them. This allows for our couples to relax and be themselves more! We laugh, dance and end with a rap poster pose! Let’s do more of the gangster rap poses, shall we!?
