Sutro Baths Engagement Session in San Francisco California
When Justin and I first went to Sutro Baths two years ago at the end of a two week road trip, I just knew we had to come back. It was perfect when Jackie and Tyler contacted me and I chatted them up about a session in their new home city! We arrived at the baths a little early so we could plan out our spots before Jackie and Tyler arrived. Wanting to make sure their session was different than the hundreds of sessions that happen there. We wanted to showcase the beauty of the ocean and the personalities of these two.
When I say that this place has hundreds of sessions happening, I mean it. There is a super popular location at Sutro Baths that we planned on using. But, when we walked to it, there was a line of couples waiting to get to it. So we decided to go up on the cliff instead. Then we headed to the green part of the park that was so lush from all the rain they’ve been getting.
After leaving Sutro Baths we headed to Crissy Field that had a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city San Francisco.
This is also where we met Jackie’s Brother who brought their pup Lupy! This little black Labradoodle was so happy to see them! Here we walked to the beach where they cuddled their pup, and there were so many laughs happening. That little Labradoodle just ate up the camera. This was AFTER he was a little scared of my camera, he was curious then heard the click and barked. But, he quickly warmed up when I got some treats in my hand!
After the session, we went out to eat at Burma Superstar, where we had so much delicious food and a good conversation! If you are ever in the Bay Area you NEED to stop at this place! It is so yummy! We cannot wait to return!
I asked Jackie and Tyler what they thought of their thoughts were leading up to the session, during and after – here is what they had to say!
“You did a FANTASTIC job helping us plan locations, outfits, getting the puppy there which helped put me at ease. Also, it calmed my nerves meeting you and Justin in-person and having you direct Tyler and
We really cannot wait for their wedding later this year!
